Search and Bulk Update

The Search and Bulk Update features are now combined, allowing you to easily toggle between the two features from the Page Options menu. This feature includes the following enhancements and bug fixes:

Bug Fixes

  • [KYB-1399]—Fixed an issue where the items per page arrow on Bulk Updated moved when a modal was opened and then canceled.

  • [KYB-1450]—The following improvements were made to the way category facets display:

    • Category names that start with an uppercase letter now appear before category names that start with a lowercase letter, for example, “Apples” before “apples.”

    • Category values no longer require the first letter to be uppercase.

    • Long category names and category values now wrap as expected.

    • Associated category name now displays when you hover over the faceted category value.

  • [KYB-1583]—Fixed an issue where Supporting Documentation on the Search preview page did not appear for Systems and Data Sets.

Enhancements

  • The facets panel, which provides the ability to filter assets, is now available for Bulk Update. If Bulk Update was initiated through Search, any facets applied during the search are carried over to Bulk Update and can be updated on the Bulk Update page.

  • The Bulk Update page now contains a link to Search, allowing you to easily toggle between Search results and Bulk Update results.

  • The following enhancements were made to the Mission and Vision search preview panels:
    • The Program Name is now included so that you can distinguish between corporate and government program level mission and vision statements.
    • The Business Glossary and Policy Management sections were removed since they did not contain content.
  • The following enhancements were made to the Initiatives and Goals search preview panels:
    • The Program Name is now included so that you can distinguish between corporate and government program level initiatives and goals.
    • The Asset ID is now included.
    • The Supporting Goals, Business Glossary and Policy Management sections have been removed since they did not contain content.
  • The following enhancements were made to the Policy search preview panel:
    • The Start/End Date field was removed because it was a duplicate field.
    • The Start Date and End Date fields are now vertically aligned for aesthetic consistency.

  • Supporting Documentation was added to the Terms search preview panel.

  • [KYB-1607]—An issue has been fixed when creating a new term, system or data set while currently viewing another assets relationship tab: instead of being navigated to the Relationships tab on the new asset, you are now navigated to the Overview tab correctly.

  • [KYB-1569]—An issue has been fixed when navigating to strategy assets from Search. Previously, when selecting a strategy asset from the Search page, the Knowledge Tier only correctly navigated to the asset if you had previously selected the correct strategy program level; otherwise, the strategy assets would not be shown. With this fix, the program level is correctly changed and the strategy asset is displayed.

  • [KYB-1601]—When creating a new initiate, Timeframe is no longer marked as a required field.

  • [KYB-1176]—Fixed an issue with the Strategy landing page for Director personas. When Director personas click the Strategy icon, they now are brought to the same page as Default and Migration personas.
